To Unfold:
Place the table on its side and pry open the table at the upper corner. This should take some force but will not be difficult; there will be an audible sound as the table unlocks. There is a lever at the center of the table which is automatically activated when the table is opened flat, and this will hold the table open while you are maneuvering it. The pair of legs at each end operate on a single rod. Using one hand to hold the table upright, pull each leg pair into the open position. Once the table is unfolded, grab the edge, and flip it from its side to its feet. Walking around to each corner, push each hinge into a locked, straight position at the elbow. There are just two metal rings, located at the back left corner and the front right corner. Make sure the rings are positioned horizontally at the elbow of these two joints.
Note: If the joint is not fully locked, the table will wobble and may collapse.
To Fold:
Gently lay the table on its side. Lift the carrying handle and drape over the edge of the tabletop to keep it from getting tucked into the folded table. Sliding the ring out of the way, give the upper elbow joint a good bump with the heal of your hand and the lower joint a light kick with your foot to unlock the hinge. This will take some force but will not be difficult. Remember that the legs of each end operate in unison and swing the legs from the open to the flat position. Repeat for the opposite end. Once the legs are tucked into their recess in the underside of the table, push the lever at the center of the tabletop. This will unlock the tabletop and allow it to fold in half. Fold, and gently squeeze the corners until you hear two audible “snaps.” The table is now locked and ready to carry to storage.
