It's easy to picture: You're standing on a stepstool with a bucket of paint in one hand and a paintbrush in the other and you've just painted as much of the trim as you can reach. It's an up and down project, with plenty of in-between moments spent juggling tape, rag, paint, brush and stepstool.
Likewise, when you've got that box precariously balanced on one arm, are holding the stepstool in the other and need to squeeze through a doorway before reaching the closet, it's appreciated if the stepstool isn't flopping open every time you take a step!
A stepstool that maintains its shape can save a lot of trouble and its with times like these in mind that we design our products. Every Cosco stepstool will hold its shape in both the opened and closed positions.
For most models, transitioning from open to closed is fairly easy, a quick pull on the top step-we generally print into the step where the handhold is for folding/unfolding, but if one-handed is how you do things, check out our stepstools with the one-hand easy release feature.
