Are the wheels offset?

Yes, the hub is offset.

Would these fit any older style Cosco hand truck?

Yes, Cosco first began producing hand trucks in 2006; we've used a 5/8th axle diameter from the beginning. 

Can these replacement wheels fit other items?

Sometimes customer ask whether these will fit other brand hand trucks, or their pressure washer, wagon, etc.  We do not test our wheels on non-Cosco items, and cannot verify this. 

Are the flat free and low profile versions interchangeable?

Yes. Standard and low profile have the same functionality and weight capacity. One is not necessarily better than the other, it would just depend on your personal preference. 

What tools are needed to replace the wheels on a Cosco hand truck?

The only tool needed for this would be a pair of pliers for removing the cotter pins. 

Does this include the axle caps, cotter pins, nuts or washers?

Because these are replacement parts, they are sold individually; axle caps, cotter pins, nuts and washers would be sold separately or reused from the hand truck. 

What is the length of the bushing? 

Each bushing measures 57mm, or about 2-1/4 inches. 

Does Cosco make a wheel that would fit a 1/2" axle?

Sorry, no. Because our wheels are intended for replacement of those found on Cosco hand trucks, and all hand trucks have 5/8" axles, we do not make wheels that would fit any other size.
